Цель урока: обобщение лексического и грамматического материала по пройденным темам.

Задачи:

образовательные:

активизация лексических единиц по темам “weather” и “my home”;

- повторение грамматических тем: Present Simple, Present Continuous, Future Simple;

- активизация употребления в речи грамматических структур: It’s, there’s \ there are;

- закрепление знаний о достопримечательностях Лондона.

развивающие:

- развитие навыков диалогической и монологической речи;

- развитие навыков чтения и аудирования;

- развитие мышления и сообразительности.

воспитательные:

- повышение мотивации к изучению английского языка.

Оборудование: компьютер, мультимедийный проектор, раздаточный материал.

PROCEDURE

I. Warming up.

Good morning, my dear pupils. Today we’ve got a very interesting lesson-quiz “Are you good at English?” You are divided into 3 teams. Name your teams and choose the captains. You’ve got 1 minute.

II. Task №1.

Now we’ll check how well you remember the theme “my home”. Each team will fill in the gaps in 3 sentences (слайды 2-11).

III. Task №2.

Put the letters in the correct order and say what weather is like in these countries and cities. Each team has 2 slides (слайды 12-19).

IV. Task №3.

Describe the picture finishing the sentences .

You have got 5 minutes to look at the pictures and write 4 sentences according to these pictures. Then the captains will read their sentences.

V. Task №4.

VI. Task №5

Find and correct grammar mistakes in each sentence (слайды 33-35). Each team will get a piece of paper with 7 sentences (Приложение 2). You have got 5 minutes to correct the mistakes and give it back to the teacher.

VII. Task №6.

Now we’ll check how attentive you are. Look at the picture during 1 minute and try to remember as much information as possible (слайды 36-43). Then you’ll answer my questions on this picture.
